Benjamin Franklin was one of the wisest men alive. He discovered the Gulf Stream, described electricity, and published the first political cartoon. He also invented bifocals, the lightening rod, the Franklin Stove, franchising, and the Armonica. Oh yeah, he also helped create and signed both the Declaration of Independence and the Unites States Constitution.
Now, it looks like Ben is still one of the wisest men even after death! It is not clear how, 231 years after he died, Ben became aware of Covid and the Federal (and some state) responses to the epidemic. But he did! Here is Ben’s opinion of the dangers of lockdowns, mask mandates, forced inoculations, forced testing, and school/business closings:
“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”– Ben’s reply to Robert H. Morris, Governor of Pennsylvania, November 11, 1755.
Applicable in 1755 (266 years ago), applicable today!!!
